MFM Presents Special Recognition at 808 Magic Convention 2026
The Magic Federation of Malaysia (MFM) is proud to celebrate excellence in magic by presenting special awards at the 808 Magic Convention 2026, recognizing outstanding performers who have demonstrated exceptional artistry, creativity, and dedication to the craft.
This year, MFM is honored to acknowledge two remarkable acts in their respective categories:
🎖️ Close-Up Category — Do-Soon
In the Close-Up Category, Do-Soon is recognized for Puppet Magic, a performance noted for its originality, refined execution, and memorable presentation. Close-up magic requires exceptional control, creativity, and the ability to create a powerful sense of wonder in an intimate setting. This act stood out for its unique concept and impressive artistic delivery.
🎖️ Stage Category — Yukichi
Yukichi is recognized in the Stage Category for a performance that demonstrated remarkable stage presence, technical precision, and artistic excellence. The act reflected the essential qualities of outstanding stage magic, including originality, professionalism, audience connection, and strong theatrical impact.
As part of this special recognition, the award winners will also receive complimentary flight tickets to Malaysia to attend either Magic Fest Malaysia or the MFM Magic Convention. This initiative reflects MFM’s continued commitment to building stronger international connections within the magic community, while creating meaningful opportunities for award-winning performers to share their talent with audiences in Malaysia.
